Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website (https://www.sap-consulting-hartmann.com) is operated by White Rabbit SAP Consulting LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”). We are the controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. You can reach us at contact@sap-consulting-hartmann.com.

2. What data we collect and why

Server log files. When you visit this website, our hosting provider, dogado GmbH (Germany), automatically records technical information that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. Legal basis (for visitors in the EU/EEA): our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The IP address is anonymized after 24 hours by removing its last octet, and log files are deleted after no more than 7 days.

Contacting us by email. If you email us, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company, content of your message) to answer your request and, where applicable, to prepare or perform a contract. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps / contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). We delete these data once your request has been handled, unless statutory retention periods (e.g. tax and commercial records) require us to keep them longer.

Visitor statistics. We use the WordPress plugin Statify to count page views. Statify stores only the date, the page visited and the referring website. It does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not create user profiles. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used).

Visitor analysis with shortened IP addresses. To understand which regions and organisations are interested in our services, we additionally log each page view with a shortened IP address (the last block is removed before storage, e.g. 203.0.113.0), the page visited, the referring website, the language setting and the browser, operating system and device type. We never store the full IP address. To determine the approximate location (country, region, city) and the network operator (e.g. internet provider or company network), the shortened IP address is sent to the service ipinfo.io (IPinfo, Inc., USA) and, as a fallback, ipwho.is (ipwhois.io). We cannot identify individual persons from this data and do not combine it with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing the use of our website and the interest of business customers). The data are deleted automatically after 13 months. You can object to this processing at any time by email.

Login security. The login area of this website is protected by the plugin Limit Login Attempts Reloaded, which temporarily stores the IP address of failed login attempts to prevent brute-force attacks. This only concerns people attempting to log in, not regular visitors. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (IT security).

3. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. WordPress sets technically necessary cookies only for logged-in administrators. Therefore no cookie consent banner is required.

4. Links to other websites

Our website contains links to external services such as LinkedIn. These are plain links: no data is transferred to these services unless you click the link. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

5. Recipients and international transfers

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. This website is hosted by dogado GmbH in Germany, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. As we are a company based in the United States, data you send us (for example by email) may also be processed in the USA. For visitors in the EU/EEA, such transfers are made where necessary to respond to your request or to perform a contract with you (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR) or on the basis of appropriate safeguards, where required.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Afterwards they are deleted.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • request restriction of processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, email us at contact@sap-consulting-hartmann.com. Visitors in the EU/EEA also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their residence.

California residents: We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. You may request information about, and deletion of, personal information we have collected about you by contacting us at the email address above.

8. Do Not Track

Because this website does not track visitors across websites, it does not respond differently to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

9. Children

This website is directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when our website or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
